The Bead Diet
The Bead Diet is a clever way of keeping count of the amount of calories in your daily diet, and uses a bracelet with moveable beads which keep count of every 100 calories you eat. For each 100 calories you eat, a bead is moved over much like an abacus, so you can easily remember how many calories you've had that day.

The diet claims that you're able to lose up to 7lbs in two weeks by using the beads, and to start out you need to work out your recommended daily allowance, achieved by multiplying your weight in pounds by 10, which tells you how many calories your body needs per day. Then, divide this amount by 10 to tell you how many beads you should place on your bracelet.
