The Food Doctor Diet
The Food Doctor Diet was created by, surprise surprise, The Food Doctor, Dr Ian Marber, and is a fantastic diet for those that enjoy their food, and tries to acheive a very balanced mixture of both proteins and carbohydrates, which regulates the levels of blood sugar levels in the body.
Food Doctor Rules
The Food Doctor Diet is fairly strict, however, especially in the early stages, with an initial seven day detoxing period where all sugar, caffeine, alcohol, bread, rice and pasta is strictly off-limits during this period. Following this stage, participants on the Food Doctor Diet follow eight rules, including making sure you drink six large glasses of water day, enjoying a wide variety of foods, and making sure that each and every meal you eat contains at least 60% complex carbohydrates, including brown rice, wholewheat pasta, salads and veg, along with 40% protein in foods such as fish and chicken. It is claimed that up to 7lbs can be lost in one week alone, making it an attractive method of shedding that excess weight before hitting the beach!Food Doctor Celebrities
