Meat - Fish Food Nutrition
Fish has been used as part of the daily staple diet for thousands of years, and is known to have positive benefits to health. Oily fish such as mackerel, trout, and tuna contain Omega 3 fatty acids, known to reduce the risk of heart disease, strokes, atherosclerosis (narrowing of the arteries by fatty plague), and may also reduce the risk of prostate cancer according to a Swedish research team in 2001.
Fish also contains a very high level of protein, as well as essential amino acids known to be beneficial. There is also evidence that a diet rich in fish can keep the brain functioning at optimum levels.
